Brought to you in collaboration with esteemed local partners, this is a day of caring and wellness for all Cape Girardeau County residents. From free food and life essentials, to substantial health screenings, a neighborly community lunch, and much more... this occasion makes "taking care of self and others" accessible, convenient, and inclusive to all who want to reach their best health potential!

Community is about taking care of self and others. This event helps with both.

Help taking care of self:

• Sickle Cell Trait Screenings
• Mobile Wellness Mammograms: 10am-2pm*
• Hepatitis C Screenings
• Preventive Care Screenings
• Immunizations
• Food Pantry
• Diapers & Wipes
• Hygiene Kits (toothbrush, travel toothpaste, travel deodorant, travel 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, travel soap bar)
• WIC Services (Women, Infant, Child)
• Food Truck (ice cream/snow cones)

Help taking care of others:

• Red Cross Blood Drive: 10am-2pm (donate blood to save lives)*
• Narcan Training & Distribution (learn how to save a life from overdose)
• Community CPR Demonstrations (resuscitate a life that has stopped breathing)
• Severe Weather Preparedness from (learn how to keep your environment safe)
• Community Lunch (enjoy a meal in community while supplies last)

*TO DONATE BLOOD: Red Cross recommends appointments to donate blood, which helps to ensure sufficient staffing and a smooth experience. Click here, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS to schedule yours.

*FOR MAMMOGRAMS: Saint Francis Mobile Wellness recommends appointments for mammograms. Preventative mammogram screenings are covered by insurance, including Medicaid. Patients without insurance may qualify for a free screening through Dig for Life and the Saint Francis Foundation. Bring a photo ID to your appointment. Call (573) 331-3952 to schedule yours.
